Ingredients

500 ml Buttermilk or 500ml Low fat Yogurt

360g Porridge Oats

2 teasp Bread Soda – Sieved

½ teasp salt

1 egg

 

Method

Mix dry ingredients together

Beat egg with buttermilk

Add to dry ingredients and mix thoroughly

Tip into an oiled & floured 2lb loaf tin

Bake for 1hr to 1hr 10 mins (until skewer comes out clean)

 

Oven 180º C
